What is collected
I use PostHog and Google Analytics to see how the site is used: which pages are viewed, the type of device and browser, the country and city, where the visit came from (a search engine, a link on another site, or the UTM tags in the link), and a few in-page events such as a click on a contact button or a question opened in the FAQ. These statistics are anonymous: they describe visits, not people.
PostHog keeps its identifiers in your browser's localStorage. Google Analytics sets two first-party cookies (_ga and _ga_…) holding a random identifier and the state of the visit, so that a returning visit is counted once; they say nothing about you, and Google's advertising features (Google Signals, ad personalization) are switched off. Those are the only cookies here, and they are used for nothing but counting, so there is no cookie banner. Session recordings (PostHog) are on, and every field you type into (name, contact, message) is masked before anything leaves your browser.
What is not collected
Your name, your email address or phone number, and the text of your message never go into analytics. I don't store your IP address with the events, I don't build profiles, and I don't track you on other sites. The site respects the Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control settings of your browser: with either switched on, nothing is recorded.
The contact form
When you send the form, your message travels through Cloudflare straight to my email and nowhere else. A Cloudflare check (Turnstile) filters out bots. Nothing you write is kept on a server, there is no mailing list, and I never share what you send with anyone.
Third parties
Three companies are involved in running this site: Cloudflare, which hosts it and delivers the form messages, and PostHog and Google (Google Analytics), which process the anonymous statistics. There is nothing else: no advertising networks, no social media pixels, no embedded trackers.
